If a person gets heart surgery, the entire extended family and friends are likely to know who the surgeon is. Not the case with psychiatry for obvious reasons of non disclosure, stigma etc. Finding the right psychiatrist for your particular needs can then be a challenge with this lack of information. Ratings of course don't convey much.
